Outcomes:
On completion of
the course students will:

Demonstrate a knowledge of
the Montessori Method and know how to apply it in the classroom through
the prepared environment. |
| 2. Acquire an in-depth
knowledge of individual development and educational psychology, and how
to apply this knowledge to their role as teachers. |
| 3.
Demonstrate an ability to
observe and interpret students’ behaviour and, through a well-designed
curriculum, know how to provide developmental activities that match
their assessment of the students. |

4. Know how to use appropriately all
the Montessori materials designed for specific age groups.

| 5. Have developed all the
strategies of teaching techniques. |
| 6. Have developed the
ability to integrate specialized subjects into the Curriculum. |
| 7. Have developed a broad
range of ideas for the creative areas of the curriculum. |
| 8. Know how to evaluate
student’s individual progress, keep appropriate records and write
professional reports. |
